Biography
Born on January 8, 1834. He received his primary education in the Polotsk Cadet Corps and the Noble Regiment , from which he was released on August 13, 1853, as a lieutenant in the Vladimir Infantry Regiment .
In 1854-1855, Mikhailov was part of the Crimean Army and the Sevastopol Garrison . On September 8, 1854, in a battle on the Alma River, he was wounded by a choke in the leg, but did not leave the system.
On February 11, 1855, for military distinctions, Mikhailov was renamed second lieutenant of the Guard and transferred to the Life Guards Volyn Regiment . In 1859, Mikhailov entered the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff , at the end of the course in which in 1861 he returned to his regiment. October 17, 1860 promoted to lieutenant .
At the beginning of the uprising in Poland in 1863, Mikhailov was in the Warsaw Military District and took part in the initial battles to suppress the uprising, on May 14 he was promoted to headquarters captain . In September of the same year, he was sent to the 2nd Konstantinovsky Military School , where he took command of a company of students. He remained in this position until March 1866, when he was transferred to the General Staff. On September 10, he was appointed senior adjutant to the headquarters of the 9th Infantry Division and promoted to captain; since December, he has been senior adjutant to the headquarters of the Odessa Military District . April 16, 1867 received the rank of lieutenant colonel . In 1868, Mikhailov was appointed chief of staff of the 10th Infantry Division and was promoted to colonel on April 17, 1870.
March 3, 1877 Mikhailov was given command of the 7th Grenadier Samogit Regiment , at the head of which he fought with the Turks in Bulgaria . He distinguished himself during the third assault on Plevna .
July 8, 1879 Mikhailov was appointed to the interim Odessa Governor-General. On May 15, 1883, he was promoted to major general with admission to the General Staff and resignation. On December 9 of the same year, he was appointed chief of staff of the 6th Army Corps , from August 2, 1884 he was chief of staff of the 7th Army Corps , from March 31, 1890 he held the same position in the 8th Army Corps .
February 9, 1894 was appointed head of the 52nd Infantry Reserve Brigade. May 14, 1896 promoted to lieutenant general .
He died in Odessa on March 2, 1898, is excluded from the lists on March 13.
