About the program

The plots of Rural Hour, unlike many other television programs, were made using cinema technology, including filming, editing, dubbing, etc. The idea of ​​the transfer was proposed by television reporters Grigory Frumkin , Vladimir Tuchkov and Oleg Gladkovsky, approved by the editor-in-chief of the propaganda editor of the State Television and Radio Vilen Egorov . Among the employees of Rural Hour are writers Georgy Radov and Yuri Chernichenko , directors Natalya Vishnevskaya (Korvin-Krukovskaya), Irina Galkina, Eduard Filatiev, Ninel Egorycheva, Sergey Braverman, screenwriters and editors Marina Tochilina, Grigory Frumkin, Sergey Torchinsky and others.

In the post-Soviet era

In 1990-1992, the program came out under the name "Niva" [ specify ] . The program was closed by order of the chairman of the Ostankino State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Yegor Yakovlev . In 2005, the program "Country Hour" for the third time returned to the air on the channel " Russia ", where it aired until the end of 2009, the program was hosted by the famous actor Alexander Mokhov [3] . State Duma deputy Yuri Konev advocated the return of the program on air [4] . The program was broadcast on Sundays or Saturdays in the morning broadcast schedule of the TV channel at 7:50 or 8:20 [5] . In 2009, the final closure of the program was adopted, and a similar program “Rural Morning” with Andrei Baturin began to appear instead.

The rural hour is an unofficial designation of the provision of Article 92 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for working hours reduced by 1 hour for women working in rural areas [7] .
