It belongs to the rural settlement of Chismenskoye ; before the municipal reform of 2006, it belonged to Aninsky rural district [3] [4] . Population - 1 [1] (2010).

Location
The village of Shiryaevo is located about 10 km southeast of the center of Volokolamsk . There are two streets in the village - Akademikov and Staraya, one garden partnership is registered [10] . 2 km west of the village is the Dubosekovo platform of the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway . The nearest settlements are the villages of Morozovo , Petelino and the village at Dubosekovo station.
Historical Information
In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Shiryaevo is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the postal Moscow highway (from Volokolamsk), 10 miles from the county town, at a well, with 20 yards and 129 residents (60 men , 69 women) [6] .
According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Anninsky volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 67 people [11] .
In 1913 - 16 yards [12] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census - the village of Ivantsevsky village council of Anninsky volost, 65 inhabitants lived (20 men, 45 women), there were 16 peasant farms [7] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
Interesting Facts
- During the Great Patriotic War , on November 16, 1941, in the battle near the village of Shiryaevo, Soviet fighters first used an anti-tank gun .
