Geography
The village is located in the steppe zone, on the banks of the marshy Kirpil estuary (the lower reaches of Kirpili ), 40 km southeast of the regional center - the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk .
Connected by the highway with Art. Olginskaya.

The village of Kirpilsky was founded in 1872, in 1881 it was renamed the village of Stepnoy; no later than 1912 the village was transformed into a village [2] .
