Biography
Born October 24, 1946 in Beirut . Member of the Bzommar Institute of the Patriarchal Clergy . He graduated from the Higher Theological Seminary in the Monastery of the Virgin in Bzommar ( Lebanon ), the Armenian seminary in Rome, the Roman University of La Sapienza (specialty - practical psychology) [1] . He was ordained to the priesthood in 1973 in the cathedral of St. Elijah and St. Gregory the Illuminator ( Beirut ). He made a great contribution to the development of the Armenian Catholic community in Lebanon (he founded a scout squad, opened the Church of the Holy Cross in Zalka), the founder of the Armenian Catholic TV channel. Since 1996 he served in the USA [2] , in 2005 he was appointed Patriarchal Exarch of Jerusalem and Amman .
On June 24, 2011 he was appointed ordinar of the ordinate of Eastern Europe and titular archbishop of Caesarea of Cappadocia ( Latin Caesariensis in Cappadocia Armenorum ), was ordained bishop on July 16, 2011 by Nerses Peter XIX Tarmuni, in conjunction with his predecessors: according to the ordinate - Archbishop Néképiekopen ) and in the titular department - by Bishop Manuel Patakyan (Manuel Batakian).
