Voytekh Monivid ( Monvid ; d. C. 1422 ) - Lithuanian boyar, headman of Vilna in 1396-1413, governor of Vilna in 1413-1422. Member of the Battle of Grunwald . Founder of the Monividovich family.
The sources were first mentioned in 1387/1389 , the date of birth is unknown. His father was Kailikin (Gailikin), his brother - Yuri Gedigold . The first wife of Monivid was Smolensk Princess Yuliania, the daughter of Svyatoslav Ivanovich and, possibly, the sister of Vitovt 's wife Anna . Probably from this marriage Ivashka had a son. In the second, the marriage was married to Jadwiga, whose origin is unknown (she could have been Jadwiga Glowachskaya, whose seal, among others, is under the act of the Union of Gorodels ).
Monivid enjoyed the favor of Prince Vytautas, from whom he received possession of many lands, including the village of Zhuprany . On the City Union, Monivid adopted the coat of arms Leliva Coat of Arms . After being baptized according to the Catholic rite, he received the name Wojciech, which is traditionally referred to as Albert in Latin documents. The last time it was mentioned in 1422, when he participated in the conclusion of the Peace of Meln . He was buried in the Vilnius chapel founded by him, known as Monividovskaya.
