Geography

The village is located on the eastern outskirts of Suzdal , on the Kamenka River. In the village there are streets: Suzdal, Central.

History

In the family of priest Mikhail Ivanovich Saninsky, transferred here in 1814, the childhood years of his son, Archpriest F. M. Nadezhdin , were spent.

At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Yanevskaya volost of Suzdal district , since 1924 - as part of the Suzdal volost of Vladimir district . In 1859 [1] there were 87 yards in the village, in 1905 [2] - 111 yards.

From 1929, the village was the center of the Seletsky Village Council of the Suzdal District , since 1954 - as part of the Kidekshansky Village Council , since 1974 - the center of the Seletsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Seletsky rural settlement .

Attractions

On the outskirts of the village there are monuments of archeology - three ancient Russian settlements of the XI - XII centuries. [9]
