Service history
Launched October 18, 1777 in Plymouth . The seventh ship of the Royal Navy , named Duke .
American Revolutionary War
Was at the island of Uessan , and in the battle of Kempenfelt on December 12, 1781 .
In 1782, he went under the command of Captain Alan Gardner ( born A. Gardner ) in the West Indies . He was at the Islands of All Saints , where he headed the second breakthrough of the line , following the example of Admiral Rodney .
Revolutionary Wars
1793 - Captain Duff ( born Duff ), under the Commodore Murray's pennant ( Eng. G. Murray ).
1796 - Captain Holloway ( English Holloway ).
In January 1796, under the flag of Admiral Parker ( eng. C. Parker ).
In 1799, he carried on a raid service as an infirmary in Stanguit Creek.
Sent for scrap in 1843 [1] .
