Cagiano, Antonio

Antonio Caggiano ( Spanish: Antonio Caggiano ; January 30, 1889 , Coronda , Argentina - October 23, 1979 , Buenos Aires , Argentina) is an Argentinian cardinal. Bishop Rosario from September 13, 1934 to August 19, 1959. Archbishop of Buenos Aires and Primate of Argentina from August 19, 1959 to April 22, 1975. Ordinary of the Eastern Rite in Argentina from August 15, 1959 to April 21, 1975. Argentine Military Ordinary from December 14, 1959 to July 7, 1975. Cardinal priest since February 18, 1946, with the title of Church of San Lorenzo in Panisperna since February 22, 1946. Cardinal Protopresbyter from December 17, 1978.
