Carnival of Rust (song)

Carnival of Rust is the first single and title track of the Carnival of Rust album of Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall . The release took place on March 22, 2006 in Finland ^[2] and December 1, 2006 in Germany ^[3] . The single contains two versions of the title track and a concert version of the song “Don't Mess With Me” from the first album of Signs of Life ^[1] , recorded on July 15, 2005 during the Rockperry Festival in Vaasa ( Finland ).

The composition Carnival of Rust was a great success and took first place on the chart of Most Wanted radio station Yleisradio ^[4] , remaining in the first lines for several months. The single took second place in the official Finnish Singles Chart ^[5] and in the combined playlist of sales and appearances on radio and television (according to the Finnish music book ) ^[6] ; and also the first place in terms of the number of “radio outputs” on the Rumba's 50 Hits list .
