History
Already in the first year of its existence, the team, speaking under the name "OGU" (Odintsovo University of Humanities) became the owner of the gold awards of the open championship of Moscow among juniors and took 4th place in the "Center" zone of the Second League [1] . In the first season of the Open Championship of Russia (2008/2009), acting as a farm club Podolsk "Lynx" called "Lynx-2-OGU" in the same zone became the second [2] .
Soon after, the Youth Hockey League made its debut. The club was among those who expressed a desire to take part in its starting season, but was refused (the likely reason was the lack of patronage from the KHL club). Only in 2011 the club called “OGI” was included in the MHL Championship , and in the 2011/2012 season it became the 4th in the “West” division and 12th place in the championship [3] .
Since the founding of the team, the champion of the USSR, the legendary defender of the Krylya Sovetov club in the 70s of the last century, Yury Terekhin, was on the coaching bridge of the OGI hockey squad. On October 26, 2011, Anatoly Chepenko was appointed head coach [4] .
In the season 2012/2013, the club became the 3rd in the North-West division and 9th in the championship [5] .
In 2013, the club again changed its name to Odintsovo. In the season 2013/2014, the result of his performance was the 26th place in the championship [6] , after which the team from Odintsovo suspended its participation in the NHL.
