Geographical position
The village of Novomikhaylovka is located at the headwaters of the Bandurka River , at a distance of 2.5 km from the village of Petropavlovka . The river in this place is drying up; a dam has been made on it.
History
- 1853 - the date of foundation as the village of Novoselenoe , which was then renamed Kailak , Novomikhailovka .
- In 1907, the village became the center of the volost of the same name.
- October 7, 1941 the Nazis occupied the village.
- On September 19, 1943 the village was liberated.
