Sibil Bektorosoglu ( Turkish : Sibil Pektorosoğlu , armenian Սիպիլ Բեքթորոսօղլու ) is a Turkish singer of Armenian descent.

Biography
Sibil Bektorosoglu was born in Istanbul in an Armenian family. From an early age she studied music. Sang in the choir at the surviving Armenian Church of Istanbul "Surb Vardanants."

By profession, Sybil is a financier, works in one of the banks of Istanbul. However, in November 2010, she released her album entitled “Sybil”, which, among other 12 songs, included the compositions “Ter Vogormya” and the medieval Armenian power “Cilicia”, singing. The first song of the album is the song "Letter", written on the basis of the work of the Armenian writer Hovhannes Shiraz "See Ani and die." The clip for the song “Letter” was shot by one of the most famous Turkish producers Ozkan Aksular , and its instrumental part was performed by the famous Istanbul composer of Armenian origin Chenk Tashkan (Mazhak Toshikyan). The released clip was the first clip in the history of Turkey in the Armenian language, which was shown by Turkish music channels and the state TRT [1] . In 2012, Sybil was awarded the Medal of Appreciation of the Republic of Armenia [2] .
