The Minister of Energy and Water Supply of Israel ( Hebrew שר התשתיות הלאומיות האנרגיה והמים ) is the political leader of the Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Supply of Israel .
From 1977 to 1996, the position was held by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure ( Hebrew שר האנרגיה והתשתיות ), and from 1996 to the end of 2011, the Minister of National Infrastructure ( Hebrew שר התשתיות הלאומיות ). Currently, the Minister is Uzi Landau from the party Our Home Israel [1] . In December 2011, the Ministry was renamed the Ministry of Energy and Water Supply (literally: “Ministry of Energy and Water”), and in September 2013 - the Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Supply [2] .
This post has been introduced to replace the post of Israeli Development Minister , abolished in 1974.
