Biography

He graduated from the library department of the Moscow State Institute of Culture (1979) and the Moscow Theological Seminary (1985).

In 1985-1990 he worked in the editorial office of the Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate . Later he was engaged in the publication of theological literature, acted as a publicist in periodicals. Author of the book “The Power of the Church” (M .: Media Union, 2003). He is the author of a number of articles on theology in the New Philosophical Encyclopedia (Moscow: Thought , 2000) and The Great Russian Encyclopedia .

Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal " State, Religion, Church in Russia and Abroad " of the editorial board of the Continent magazine and the scientific and theological almanac Theological Works .
