The Government House of the Moscow Region is a complex of government buildings of the Moscow Region in the Myakininskaya floodplain on the banks of the Moscow River , in the city of Krasnogorsk , near the 65-66 km of Moscow Ring Road , not far from the Crocus City shopping center (the Myakinino metro station is located on the territory of the latter).
It contains most of the regional authorities, including one of the office premises of the Governor of the Moscow Region .
The need to create an administrative and public center in the Moscow region was due to the fact that the Moscow region historically did not have its own administrative center, and authorities were located in another region - the city of Moscow . The complex was built in 2004 and put into operation in September 2007 .
