The Bolivaria Bolivaria [2] [3] , or the Bolivaria wormwood [4] ( lat. Bolivaria brachyptera ) is a species of insect from the order of the mantis . Distributed in the Crimea , from the Volga region to the Irtysh , in the Caucasus , in the Caucasus , Central and Asia Minor , Syria , Iran and about. Crete , in the east to western Mongolia [5] . They live in cereal-wormwood deserts in combination with elements of wormwood and hodgepodge deserts of the northern Turan type, on the slopes of bayraks, ravines and hills with sparse steppe vegetation and in tugai forests . The body length of males is 34–45 mm, females - 40–53 mm [5] . It is included in the Red Book of Ukraine - a vulnerable species [5] .
