It starts from the intersection with Kurchatov Street and ends with the intersection with Tankova Street at the Tank Ring . On the left side of the street there is a greened descent to the tank ravine with the street of the same name.
History
The street got its name according to the regulatory act of January 24, 1968 No. 61 in honor of the cosmonaut twice Hero of the Soviet Union V. M. Komarov (1927-1967), who died in April 1967 while flying on the Soyuz-1 spaceship.
It was built in the late 60s of the XX century on the eve of the development of the nearby “sleeping area” of the Gorky Volga region of the city. Has a multi-storey building (5-storey " Khrushchev ") only on the right even side.
