History
In 1929, a stopping point was opened in the village of Ozolnieki. Its presence was caused by the household needs of the nearby clay quarry of the Riga cement factory. At this point, a transshipment point was organized for transshipment of a wide gauge of goods arriving in narrow gauge railroad cars.
In the same year, for the convenience of workers and residents of the village, passenger trains began to stop at this place [1] . Travel time from Ozolnieki station to Riga is 40 minutes, to Jelgava - 9 minutes.
