Club

He began his professional career in his native Real Oviedo in 1994. After five seasons, he moved to Deportivo La Coruna , where he managed to take the championship in the very first season, and later also the King’s Cup and two Spanish Super Cups , but due to injuries Cesar never played more than 20 matches per season [1] . With the arrival of the head coach Joaquin Kaparros, the player rarely joined the team and in the summer of 2006 he moved to Levant , but in six months he appeared on the field only three times. January 31, 2007 contract with him was terminated by mutual consent [2] . In February 2007, he signed a contract with the English “ Bolton Wanderers ” until the end of the season [3] . May 18, 2007 it was announced that the contract with him will not be renewed [4] . The next season the player spent in " Hercules ." Before the 2009/10 season, Cesar signed a contract with Castellón on the 2 + 1 system, but after the season in which the club left the Segunda , the player decided to leave the club.

In the national team

In the Spanish national team debuted on August 18, 1999 in a friendly match against the Polish national team . The last match was played on June 5, 2004 against the national team of Andorra . In total, he played 12 matches for the national team, scoring three times (all three goals were scored with his head).
