The source of the river is Lake Ukhtozero , located on the Andom Upland at an altitude of 175.4 meters above sea level. The river flows from west to east. The mouth of the river is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Lacha , on the territory of the Lachsky nature reserve . It flows into Lake Lacha and is divided into two branches. The river is 84 km long and has a catchment area of ​​876 km².
