History
The station was opened in the XIX century. There are trains of Kharkov and Kiev directions.
The access to the station is not electrified, the movement of trains is provided by diesel locomotives. Electrification is planned after the extension of the AC line from Vorozhba station (as part of the Vorozhba - Sumy - Basy - Lyubotin section) [2] [3] . Approximate terms of electrification are not called.
The purpose of electrification is to reduce the cost of transportation, as well as the organization of movement of freight trains, incl. transfer from the speed direction Kiev - Poltava - Kharkov .
The main shunting locomotives at the station are: ChME-3 and TGM.
The main mainline diesel locomotives and diesel trains are: 2TE116 , TEP70 , DR1A , 620M rail buses.
The last major reconstruction of the station station was carried out in 2008 [4] .
