Kesi is one of the seven tribes of the Hungarians , which was part of the ancient Hungarian confederation of the tribes of the “Conquest of the Motherland on the Danube” era . The Kesi tribes are mentioned by Konstantin Porphyrogenitus in his work “On the management of the empire” [1] .
Nemeth Gyula explains the etymology of the name Kesi from the Türkic languages in the sense of 'small genus, remnant' [2] . RG Kuzeev, the Hungarian Kesi tribe compares with the Kese clan, as part of the Bashkirs of the Tabyn tribe.
