Initial biography
Konstantin Vasilyevich Komissarov was born on September 19, 1898 in the village of Novinki, Yaroslavl Province, now in the Rybinsk District, Yaroslavl Region.
Military Service
Civil War
In September 1918 he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army and sent to the 1st infantry regiment of a Special International Division , after which he took part in hostilities on the Southern Front . From March 1920, he was treated in the 156th evacuation hospital, and after recovering from July 1920 he served in the 6th rifle reserve regiment ( Moscow Military District ) and in the company of the Office of Higher Education Institutions in Kostroma .
In October 1920, he was sent to study at the 19th Tsaritsyn Infantry Command Courses, after which in January 1922 he was appointed platoon commander of the 512th Infantry Regiment of the 57th Ural Infantry Division ( Ural Military District ).
Interwar Time
From February 1923, Komissarov served in the 171st rifle regiment as part of the 57th Ural rifle division, where he served as company commander, chief of the regimental school and chief of staff of the regiment. From October 1923 to August 1924, he studied at the repeated courses for commanders in Samara ( Volga Military District ).
In March 1932, the division was relocated to the Trans-Baikal Military District . From June 1935, he served as chief of the 1st division of the headquarters of this division, and in November he was appointed chief of staff of the 171st rifle regiment.
In February 1936, Komissarov was appointed to the post of assistant to the chief of the 1st division of the headquarters of the 20th rifle division ( Leningrad Military District ), in January 1937 - to the post of chief of the 1st part of the headquarters, then to the post of assistant commander of the 67th rifle division ( Kalinin military district ), in 1939 - to the post of chief of the 2nd division of the headquarters of this district, and in July - to the post of commander of the 67th rifle division.
In March 1941, Konstantin V. Komissarov was appointed commander of the 65th rifle corps in the Baltic Military District . By order of the troops of the Baltic Military District on June 12, 1941, the corps was included in the 27th Army and performed the tasks of defending the coast of the Gulf of Finland and the Moonsund Archipelago .
Great Patriotic War
At the beginning of the war, the corps under the command of Major General Komissarov took part in defensive military operations in the Baltic States , and then on the Kholmsk direction. In August 1941, the corps department was disbanded, and Komissarov was appointed head of the 34th army’s rear department, and in November of the same year, commander of the 183rd rifle division , after which he took part in the Kalinin defensive and offensive operations. . In January 1942, the division was surrounded south-west of Rzhev , from which it left at the end of February in the positions of the 30th and 39th armies , but the division commander, Major-General Konstantin Vasilyevich Komissarov, left March 2, 1942, to die. He was buried in the village of Lobzeno ( Rzhevsky district , Tver region ).
