Biography
Born on November 14, 1908 on the Kalach-on-Don farm (now the city of Volgograd region) in a working class family. Russian .
He graduated from 7 classes. He worked as a mechanic at the factory "Red Aksai" in Rostov-on-Don. In the Red Army he served in 1931-1939 and since 1941. Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1939 . Graduated from KUKS (Commander Advanced Training Courses).
Member of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941 . The 667th Infantry Regiment (218th Infantry Division, 47th Army, Voronezh Front) under the command of Major Rashutin on the night of September 25, 1943 forced the Dnieper near the village of Pecari ( Kanevsky district of Cherkasy region of Ukraine), seized a bridgehead on the right bank and held him to the approach of the main forces of the division. The regiment beat off numerous enemy counterattacks. The regimental commander, being wounded, remained in service [1] .
Since 1945, Lieutenant Colonel Rashutin - in stock. He returned to Rostov-on-Don to his native plant.
Died December 19, 1994 , buried in Rostov-on-Don.
Awards
- By the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 25, 1943 he was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal (No. 3178) [2] .
