The natural source was located near the Obninskoe station, after filling with soil it moved to a ravine near the Mir cinema . Falls into Protva near the Lower Park and the city beach in Obninsk.
Hydrology
The length is 3.5 km. Right tributaries: Gavshinsky and Nefyodovsky streams. Left tributary: Gridnevsky stream. The channel is winding, with a depth of up to 1 m, the width does not exceed 3.5 m. In the middle and lower reaches, Repink reveals the bedrock - limestone.
History
In the lower reaches of Repinka on the bank of the steep Repinsky ravine on the lands he inherited from the division, Victor Obninsky built for his family an estate in the New England style Turliki , sold in 1909 to Margarita Morozova and received the name Morozovskaya Dacha in Soviet times.
In 1961, a suspension bridge was built across Repinka in the old part of Obninsk near school No. 1 , which became one of the city’s attractions. In 2007, the bridge was closed due to an emergency condition; currently the bridge is completely reconstructed and open. [one]
