Evoron is a village in the Sunny district of the Khabarovsk Territory . The administrative center and the only settlement of rural settlement "Village Evoron". The population according to 2018 is 1,153 people [2] .

Content
History
In the years 1937-1943 in the village there was a special settlement GULAG . In the years 1945-1949 - the 3rd branch of the camp number 5 for Japanese prisoners.
The Evoron station is one of the stations of the so-called βOld BAMβ. It was built in the late 1930s. Until the summer of 1978, one of the last monuments to the USSR stood on the station . Stalin . Since that time (the 1930s) it was in operation as part of the Komsomolsk line at that time dead-end to Amurstan station Berezovka. With the beginning of the construction of BAM, a separate battalion of railway troops was stationed at the station, by whose efforts the station and the railway line were modernized. A small detachment of civilian builders appeared at the station in the summer of 1978.

Economy
The main enterprise is Evoronsky logging station of Evoronsky LPH OJSC. The eponymous railway station was built in 1989 by builders from the Altai Territory .
