History
About the antiquity of the camp says the found Kondonskaya Venus, found by A. P. Okladnikov , aged 4500 years [2] . The Neolithic fishermen of the Amur Region not only had nets and seines , but also invented the world's oldest lure - a jade plate was found at a settlement in Condon (4520 ± 20 years ago), one end of which was rounded and had a drilled hole on the other.
The settlement was first mentioned in Russian sources in 1651 [3] . In 1902, a parish school was opened. [4] In 1931, an expedition of a paleontologist and writer Ivan Efremov [5] passed through the village, the conductor of which was a native of Kondon, a Nanai entrepreneur Sekenu Samar (baptized by Innokenty Dukhovskaya), who lived 114 years [6] .
