Location
The village of Vasilyevskoye is located about 10 km southeast of the city of Volokolamsk . There are two streets in the village - Dachnaya and Lesnaya, one garden partnership is registered [2] . One and a half kilometers from the village is the Dubosekovo platform of the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway , to the north - the Lama River (the basin of the Ivankovo reservoir ) flows [10] .
The nearest settlements are the villages of Yurievo and Krasikovo . Some households have an address without a street. The territory of the village was more than doubled in 1992 as part of the so-called. "Programs for the revival of small and endangered villages of Russia", forgotten with the collapse of the USSR.
In the Volokolamsk district there is another village with the same name , it is located 22 km to the north-west [11] and belongs to the rural settlement of Yaropoletskoye .
Historical Information
In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Vasilievskoye is the owner's village of the 2nd camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Moscow postal highway (from Volokolamsk), 15 versts from the county town, by the Lama River, with 13 yards and 98 residents (48 men, 50 women) [6] .
According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Timoshevsky volost of Volokolamsk district, the number of male souls was 53 people [12] .
In 1913 - 5 yards and a farm [13] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the village of the Nelidovsky Village Council of the Anninsky Volost of Volokolamsk Uyezd, 179 residents (75 men, 104 women) lived, there were 36 peasant farms [7] .
Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
