Biography
Born on March 14, 1922 in the capital of Bashkiria, Ufa . Russian He graduated from 10 classes.
He was drafted into the Red Army in December 1942 by the Central District Military Commissariat of the city of Krasnoyarsk and then sent to the army.
In the Svir-Petrozavodsk operation in the summer of 1944, two armies of the southern wing of the Karelian front were advancing: the 7th and 32nd. The main blow was delivered by the 7th Army from the area of the city of Lodeynoye Pole, Leningrad Region, in the direction of the Ladoga coast. To this end, it was strengthened by two rifle corps, artillery, tank, and engineering formations sent from the reserve of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander.
On the first day of the offensive on June 21, 1944, Red Army soldier Alexei Aseev distinguished himself with his skillful and decisive actions. Being part of the reconnaissance group, during the preparation of crossing the Svir River, he determined the location of the firing points on the front line of the enemy. After crossing the enemy shore, having taken the first blows of the enemy, the courageous warrior, having his own reconnaissance data, quickly orientated himself on the ground and destroyed five firing points along with the servant. With well-aimed shots, he took several cuckoos from the trees, and captured three Finnish soldiers.
Shooter of the 1063rd Infantry Regiment (272nd Infantry Division, 7th Army, Karelian Front) Red Army soldier A. Aseev again distinguished himself in battles in the third line of enemy defense, when breaking through the Vidlitsky fortified area. Having overcome wire barriers under fire, he was the first to burst into the trench, destroyed the heavy machine gun’s crew there and captured the prisoner. The brave warrior also acted boldly and decisively in battle in the second trench, where he destroyed another calculation of the enemy machine gun. In this battle, on June 28, 1944, he was seriously wounded and, after prolonged treatment in a rear hospital, was demobilized from the ranks of the Red Army as a war invalid.
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 3828) was awarded to Red Army soldier Aseev Alexei Alexandrovich on July 21, 1944.
From 1944 to 1946 he served in the Internal Troops of the NKVD of the USSR. Since 1946, A. A. Aseev lived and worked in the city of Krasnoyarsk. He was buried in Badalyk cemetery .
