Geography
Located south of the city of Ma'alot-Tarshiha and about 14 kilometers south of the border with Lebanon . Kfar Vradim is close to such large cities as Nahariya (20 km) and Karmiel (16 kilometers). Kfar Vradim was established in September 1984 . Its founder, Steph Wertheimer , sought to create a modern city in the lap of nature. Kfar-Vradim was formed as a village of 50-100 families, and at first there was no electricity and running water. The first families were mainly specialists at the ISCAR industrial enterprise , a successfully developing plant owned by Stef Wertheimer.

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel , the population at the beginning of 2018 was 5,546 people [1] .
Climate
Kfar Vradim is located at an altitude of 550-620 meters above sea level, providing a relatively dry and Mediterranean climate . The peak temperature in Kfar Vradim in summer usually reaches about 38 ° C, while in January and February the temperature can drop to −2 ° C. The average temperature ranges from 10 to 15 ° C in winter and 28-32 ° C in summer. Precipitation is mainly between October and March, and it is mainly rain showers and hail .
Transport
Kfar Vradim borders on Ma'alot-Tarshiha and the village of Yanuh , and is connected to the northern part of Israel by road 854. The road 8721 passes through the city, connecting it with Yanuh. Buses depart from Kfar Vradim daily to Ma'alot (lines 82,12,35,43), Karmiel (line 12), Nahariya (line 43) and Acre (line 35).
Education
In Kfar Vradim, there is a Keshet elementary school and an Amirim secondary school. In addition, there are several kindergartens. A high school is currently under construction.
