Content
Story
After selling his car company, tycoon Sam Dodsworth and his wife, Fran, are leaving to travel. Once in Europe , Fran starts up love stories - first with Arnold Iselin, then with young aristocrat Kurt von Oberstdorf - and leaves her husband.
Sam goes to Naples , meets there an attractive divorced woman Edith Cortright and finds solace in her arms. Meanwhile, Fran's relationship with her lover ends in a break - Kurt's mother forbids her son from marrying a woman who is many years older than him. Realizing her mistakes, Fran wants to return to her husband, but her repentance was late - Sam makes Edith an offer and returns with her to America .
