Nature
Fauna and Flora
Typical representatives of the mountain and valley rivers of the Lena basin live in the river: grayling , lenok , nelma , whitefish , pike , ide , perch . In the summer-autumn low water , isolation of certain groups of fish populations is observed. Grayling lives in the mountain segment of the river, in the piedmont part, where frequent areas with a fast current, alternating with short, relatively slow reaches, are characterized by lenok. Below the river appear nelma and whitefish, as well as perch. Closer to the mouth, where the current falls so much that the pebble banks are replaced by sandy dwellings and, in places, ide.
