Distance to the district center : 18.3 km. Distance to the regional center : 162 km. Distance to the nearest train station : 43 km.
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 18th century (until 1721) by Major Ivan Grigoryevich Chirkov. Named in contrast to the Old Chirkovo ( Ulyanovsk region ), 7 km northeast of New Chirkovo. Since 1780 - as part of the Khvalynsk district of the Saratov province. In 1859-105 courtyards, a church (the Church of the Baptist), a distillery, a mill. In 1928 - early 1930s it was part of the Baranovsky district of the Middle Volga region . In 1939 - the center of the village council of the Neverkinsky district , in 1955 the Bigeevsky village council, the collective farm named after Telman.
In June 2016, the BR-15 water tower was replaced, due to the high degree of wear of the old tower, the metal walls of which were heavily rusted, the tightness was broken. The estimated cost of work amounted to 432 thousand rubles [2] .

Religion
The population professes Christianity-Orthodoxy. In the village there is a church - the Baptist Church, a wooden church on the brick foundation in the name of St. John the Baptist, built in the late 18th century. Later it was sheathed and received a decorative design in the form of blades with patch elements. It is a high four with imitation of the upper light with false platbands, bearing an octagonal drum, which was previously covered with a helmet-shaped head. A rectangular altar part adjoins it in the east, and a refectory in the west, connected to a small bell tower, the completion of which has been lost. The interior fragmentary preserved paintings made in an academic manner [5] .
On December 21, 2013, a prayer house was opened in the village [6] .

Municipal Novo-Chirkovskaya elementary school. Located on the street. Central, 41. TIN: 5825070368 [8] . The school was closed in 2010.

Monuments
A monument has been erected in the village to soldiers of all warriors and battles who died in wars and local conflicts. The monument was unveiled on August 15, 2014. In the center of the village, next to the monument, there is a fenced "Alley of memory" [9] [10] .
