Cea ( Spanish: Río Cea ) is a large river of the Iberian Peninsula , a tributary of the Esla River. It originates in the municipality of Prioro .

General Information
The length of the river is about 157 km. The catchment area is 2019 km². Most full-flowing from November to May . A reservoir has been created, the waters of which are used to generate electricity and irrigation .
Interesting
On the river bank, where the city of Sahagun today is located, on November 27, 304 the Saints of the United Christian Church , the martyrs Facundo and Primitivo , were beheaded.
