Sakuradamon Station ( Jap. 桜 田 門 駅 ko: jimati eki ) is a Yurakutyo railway station located in a special area of Chiyoda , Tokyo . The station is designated Y-17. It was opened on June 30, 1974. In the vicinity of the station is the Tokyo Imperial Palace . The station has an automatic platform gate and tactile coating .
