Ammotrechidae (lat.) - a family of arachnids from the order of the phalanx ( Solifugae ). About 80 species. Found in North , Central and South America . One fossil species from the Dominican amber ( Miocene ) is known ( Happlodontus proterus Poinar & Samtiago Blay, 1989 ) [1] .
