Biography
The son of a merchant. He graduated from the 6th Moscow Grammar School and the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow University (1893). Serving military service and in 1894 he was released with the rank of second lieutenant from the Alekseevsky military school . After retiring from military service, he continued his education and in 1899 he graduated from the Imperial Moscow Technical School with the title of mechanical engineer.
In 1900, he began teaching mathematics at the Yekaterinoslav Mining Institute . Since January 1903 he taught at the Kharkov Institute of Technology , where he led the practical classes of students in mechanical and hydraulic laboratories. He was engaged in the development of problems of applied mechanics and machine parts.
In 1910, he occupied the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Imperial Moscow Technical School . At the same time he served as a designer of tram cars in the Office of Moscow city trams.
In 1912, he transferred to the post of director of the private copper rolling mill Glowno in Poland . Published in Izvestia of the South Russian Society of Technologists .
In 1914, he volunteered for the front with the rank of lieutenant- gunner. In 1915, he entered the commission on supplying the army with metals, created at the General Staff , was an engineer at the military-technical plant in Petrograd. Since 1918, he taught as a professor at the Kharkov Institute of Technology.
In 1920 he emigrated to Yugoslavia , where in the same year he became a professor of applied mechanics at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Belgrade . He was a fellow chairman of the Union of Russian Engineers in Yugoslavia , a member of the Society of Russian Scientists in Yugoslavia and the Russian Scientific Institute in Belgrade.
He died in 1930 . He was buried at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.
