Geography

The village of Smolnikovo is located 800 m from the P107 Klin - Lotoshino highway, about 18 km northeast of the city of Volokolamsk , on the right bank of the Loknash river ( Ivankovo ​​reservoir basin ). One garden partnership is registered on the territory [4] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Teryaevo , Pokrovskoye and the village of Kaleevo .

History

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Smolnikov is a state village of the 1st camp of the Klinsky district of the Moscow province on the right side of the Volokolamsk tract, 42 versts from the county town, near the Loknosha river, with 9 yards , 1 factory and 101 residents (49 men, 52 women) [6] .

According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Kaleevsky volost of the Klinsky district, the number of souls was 181 people [7] .

In 1913 - 29 yards and a paper and weaving mill [12] .

In 1917, the Kaleyevsky volost was transferred to Volokolamsk district [13] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union population census - the village of the Proboevsky village council of the Kaleyevsky volost of the Volokolamsk district, 186 residents (95 men, 91 women) lived, there were 32 peasant farms [9] .

Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
