It (ஓனா) or ohar (ஒகரம்) is the tenth letter of the Tamil alphabet , denotes the vowel "O" (a rounded vowel of the back row of the middle-upper rise ), is used at the beginning of the word, it is transmitted inside the word by means of two diacritical marks surrounding the consonant letter kombu and arava : க் + ஒ = கொ (ikkanna + she = kona).
