Bus parcel service in Finland is a type of transportation of parcels , including expeditious delivery, in Finland via buses , which is currently carried out by Oy Matkahuolto Ab for both corporate and private individual customers. In the past, special parcels have been used to pay for these services.
Description
The Matkahuolto bus company, in parallel with passenger traffic , supports a national parcel transport network, which also includes a parcel delivery and delivery system and can use other vehicles if necessary. Parcels can be sent to recipients throughout Finland and the Åland Islands and, in collaboration with TNT , worldwide [1] .
The speed and reliability of this type of postal service is achieved due to the frequency of flights and the density of passenger bus routes throughout the country. Matkahuolto carries out more than 20 thousand bus trips daily and has about 500 customer service points, which guarantees fast delivery of parcels. Sending things and goods with parcels on buses is simple and convenient: payment for shipping can be done by both the sender and the recipient (except for express parcels) [2] .

Demand among tourists from Russia
In the second decade of the XXI century, in the southeast of Finland there was a rush of demand for parcel purchases from electronic stores delivered by the Matkahuolto service among tourists from Russia [1] , which was facilitated by the annual issue by Finland of more than a million annual multiple visas to Russians in St. Petersburg. In Lappeenranta , Imatra and Nuyamaa, the parcel service opened parcel delivery offices specifically for tourists from Russia [2] .
