Lando (through the French landau from the German Landau (er) ) is a lightweight four-seater wagon with a roof folding forward and backward. The name came from the name of the city of Landau in Germany, where carts of this type were invented in the 18th century.

Usage
Comfortable Lando on springs and sometimes pneumatic tires have always been considered luxurious, "ladies", crews. They are still used as fiakra and in ceremonial occasions.
Design
Passenger seats are arranged in two rows facing each other.
The design of the landau did not allow passengers to control the horse, and therefore a post-requirator was required.
Both soft pivoting roofs and rigid removable elements were used.
Landolet
Landlet called lightweight landau with a folding awning just above the rear seat.
