It is part of the Lentievsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Lentievsky village council.
Located at the confluence of the Istok river in Shaloch . The distance by road to the regional center of Ustyuzhna is 36 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Lentievo - 14 km. The nearest settlements - Pozharki , Ponizovye , Shaloch .
