It is part of the Lentievsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to January 11, 2007 it was part of the Modensky rural settlement ) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Modensky Village Council.
Located on the banks of the Vanya River. The distance to the regional center of Ustyuzhna by road is 31 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Lentievo in a straight line - 10 km. The nearest settlements are Vanskoye , Kolokolets , Aleksandrovo-Maryino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 80 people (30 men, 50 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (99%) [3] .
