Alexander Velianov (born 1965 [1] ) is a German musician and composer, best known as the vocalist of the darkwave band Deine Lakaien , which he (together with Ernst Horn ) founded in 1985.

Biography
Veljanov currently lives and works in Berlin, Munich and London. He rarely talks about his private life, and even the date of his birth is still a mystery. However, in an interview with the Swiss electronic publication ART-NOIR [2] dated February 23, 2011, he said: “Now I am 46” [1] . More than once in his interviews, willingly showing off the engagement ring, Velyanov mentioned that he was married, but nothing was known about his wife, nor about children, whom, according to unconfirmed reports, he had two. Who they are, where they live, and why Velyanov so carefully hides the very existence of their loved ones, is unknown.
The latest album by musician Porta Macedonia includes cover versions of songs by the popular Macedonian band Mizar .
