Kasansay district ( Uzbek. Kosonsoy tumani, Kosonsoi fog ) is an administrative unit of the Namangan region , Uzbekistan . The administrative center is the city of Kasansay .

Kasansay district was formed in the 1920s. In 1938 it became part of the Ferghana region . In 1941 he moved to the Namangan region. In 1960, again transferred to the Ferghana region. In 1962, transferred to the Andijan region . In 1963 it was abolished. In 1973, it was restored as part of the Namangan region [2] .
