It is part of the Ustyuzhensky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in the Ustyuzhensky village council.
Located on the right bank of the Vorozha River. The distance by road to the regional center of Ustyuzhny is 13 km. The nearest settlements are Ustyuzhna, Aristovo , Voronino , Ganki , Mikhailovskoye , Romankovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 42 people (17 men, 25 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
