Bastille Station

Bastille Station ( Fr. Gare de la Bastille , Gare de Paris-Bastille ) - a railway station on Place de la Bastille , which operated between 1859 and 1969 . Connected Paris with the suburbs of Brie-comt-Robert and Verneuil-et-Etal. Had 6 railway tracks. It was closed in 1969, after which the building was used as a platform for various exhibitions. In 1984, the building was demolished for the construction of the opera .
