Baidari ( Georgian ბაიდარი , Azeri. Baydar ) is a village of Marneuli municipality , Kvemo-Kartli region of the Republic of Georgia with 100% Azerbaijani population. Located in the south of Georgia, in the historical region of Borchaly .

History
According to one version, the Baidar village was founded in the XIV century by a Turkic Nogai tribe who fled from the Crimea . In the 1360s , the Great Jamble broke out in the Horde . During the internecine wars, dozens of khans and pretenders to the throne killed each other in bloody battles. The Crimean governor Mamay , who had risen by that time, was at enmity with the Nogai tribe Mangyt . According to legend, he conquered one of the clans of the Crimean mangyts - Baydara and expelled him to the Caucasus . Already in the Caucasus, Baydarov began to pursue another great conqueror - Tamerlan . Fleeing persecution, they wandered around the Caucasus for several decades, gradually moving to a settled life and founding several settlements here. One of such settlements was the village of Baidar in southern Georgia, in the historical province of Borchaly . [3] . Geography
The village is located east of the Marneuli - Sadakhlo highway, about 11 kilometers from the city of Rustavi , on the banks of the Khrami River, at the foot of the mountain, at an altitude of 330 meters above sea level. It borders with the villages of Kurtlari , Kvemo-Kulari , Zemo-Kulari , Lezhbadini , Kirihlo and Didi Muganlo of the Marneuli Municipality . [four]
