Deep Insight is a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki in 2002 by childhood friends Jukka (vocals) and Johannes (guitar). Later they were joined by Bowl (bass) and Ville (drums). By 2008, they played more than 400 concerts in 20 countries. The single "Hurricane Season" headed the Finnish charts and remained in it for six weeks [1] .
Julia βs debut mini-album was released in 2002, after which the group began to record the full-length album Ivory Tower at Soundtrack Studios in Helsinki. It was released in May 2003, and Deep Insight went on a European tour.
The second Red Lights album , White Lines, was recorded and mixed in June-July 2004 at Facination Street Studios in the Swedish city of Orebro ; it was produced by Jens Borgen and Jonas Ulsson, and the mastering took place in Stockholm under the direction of Tumas Eberg. Red Lights, White Lines was released in Finland and Italy in 2004 and the following year in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and Japan. By the summer of 2005, the album was sold out and re-released in the fall with a new cover.
Their third album, One Minute Too Late, was released in Finland on October 18, 2006. The single "New Day" from this album for one week hit the Finland chart, taking the 19th line. The bowl left the group and was replaced by Yore.
In 2009, Deep Insight released the fourth album, Sucker for Love, and received the MTV Europe Music Awards in the regional category "Best Performer of Finland" [2] .
